A computer that constantly generates new numbers that are assigned to each stop on a reel in the slot machine. When you pull the handle or push the spin button, the random number generator tells the reels where to stop. These are completely random. A random number generator is also often abbreviated to "RNG".

Well, when I was first watching this, when I heard him counting, I automatically thought it was 5. Listen to him counting again, he sounds a lot more tense from the time he's counting from 1-5 than when he says 6.
